Guided tour to Coimbra “Tour Coimbra”
Meeting point: in front of the General Library of the University of Coimbra

Itinerary:
Meeting in front of the General Library to begin the tour to the city of Coimbra.

Visit to the University of Coimbra, the historical area of Coimbra on foot, passing through the New Cathedral, the ancient church of the Jesuits College, the Machado de Castro Museum, the Old Cathedral and the Republicas (typical communal student hostels).  

Access to the pedestrian street Ferreira Borges through the Quebra Costas Street and Almedina Arch, the main gateway of the medieval city of Coimbra. In downtown Coimbra, we will visit the Praça do Comércio, the labyrinthine alleyways of the traditional commerce and the Santa Cruz Church, which was classified as National Pantheon.
