Tomorrow and the day after (September 29th and 30th) the Nursing School of Coimbra (ESEnfC) welcomes about 320 new students who will attend the 1st year of the Nursing Degree Course.
There will be two days of activities, enabling students to visit the major services and facilities of the ESEnfC in order for the transition into higher education to be easier.
Thus, in the first day, at 10 a.m. on Campus B, there will be a welcoming session by the course coordination team and the School’s direction.
In the afternoon there will be a training session within the scope of the H1N1 Contingency Plan so that the new members of the educative community of the ESEnfC may become familiar with the measures implemented by the institution and adopt them in their daily practices.
In the morning of the 30th, there will be a presentation of the equipments and resources of Campus A.
In the afternoon, in Campus B, he National and International Relations Office will make public the opportunities for mobility in Portugal and abroad to which the students may apply.
The grade of the last student admitted at the ESEnfC in the 1st phase of the national competition for Access to higher education was 147.8 marks in 2009.
Together with the University of Oporto and the nursing schools of Lisbon and Oporto, the ESEnfC filled all the available places.
The results of the 2nd phase will be available on October 9, and about 30 to 40 students are expected to be also admitted.
