Merit Scholarships co-financed by the ESF and the Portuguese Government in the scope of the Human Potential Operational Programme
The Merit Scholarship is a pecuniary tribute, of a fixed amount, to support the payment of the costs resulting from attending a higher education degree. The granting of these scholarships is regulated by Order no. 13531/2009 (2nd series), 9 June, amended by Order no. 7761/2017, of 4 September.
Annually, the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education grants merit scholarships to students who have had an exceptional school performance in their higher education degree.
