Summary of the Project
The main objective of the project is to develop the DigiNurse Model for nursing education. It will be a generic model containing the organisational, educational and professional elements for the development of students’ digital competence, preparing them to take on an active role in the coordination of care delivery to individuals with complex and chronic needs.
These digital competencies will include the digital coaching of patients aiming at health promotion and education while monitoring clinical data and following decision protocols. Students will establish care targets, supporting therapeutic adherence and assessing the patients’ evolution based on a perspective of critical and shared decision-making.
